Description

Our sleeveless, collarless, waist length zip front smelter vest is manufactured from Creswick Woollen Mills' world-class 840gsm 100% Wool fabric with a PFZ (potassium-fluro-zicronate) flame retardant treatment. The garment has been designed to provide additional heat and flame resistance, hot metal splash protection and warmth.

Being 840gsm 100% Wool, it provides an important extra layer of protection and is inherently flame retardant. The fabric provides outstanding splash resistance to molten aluminium, adding that additional layer of protection over a PR97™ shirt. The sleeveless design doesn't restrict movement, allowing workers freedom and mobility whist working in high risk environments.

The vest is ideal for use as an over garment in any workplace where flame, heat and splash protection is required. In fact, the garment has been specifically designed and constructed for use in primary and secondary aluminium environments where protection from flame, heat and metal splash, without restricting mobility, is absolutely vital.
